Use your own domain for ShotVista delivery pages

On the Ultimate plan you can serve your storefront, booking and delivery pages on your own domain, such as media.yourstudio.com, by pointing a CNAME record at ShotVista. SSL certificates are issued automatically. On any plan you can use a free subdomain of shotvista.com instead.

Who it is for
Studios that want clients to see only their own brand, with no ShotVista domain in the links they send.
Plan
Your own domain needs Ultimate ($99 per month). A shotvista.com subdomain is free on every plan.
ShotVista Storefront, Booking page tab, Customer Portal settings with Branding and a Custom Domain field with a Connect Domain button
Storefront, Booking page: the Custom Domain field takes your own domain (for example photos.yourdomain.com) or a free name.shotvista.com subdomain. Screenshot of the live app, test account, 26 October 2026.

What it does

  • Serve the storefront, booking form and delivery pages on your domain.
  • Choose which pages are available on the domain: booking, delivery, storefront and customer portal.
  • Issue and renew the SSL certificate for the domain automatically.

When it runs

  • You add, change or remove the domain in the dashboard.

Set it up

  1. Open Settings, Business, Domain in the ShotVista dashboard and click Set up custom domain.
  2. Enter the domain you want to use, for example media.yourstudio.com, or pick a free shotvista.com subdomain.
  3. For your own domain, add the CNAME record ShotVista shows at your DNS provider.
  4. Wait until the status changes to active; the certificate is issued once the DNS record is found.

Example

You add photos.nordlysmedia.no and create a CNAME record for it pointing to the target ShotVista shows. Once it is active, delivery links you send look like photos.nordlysmedia.no/delivery/… with your branding only.

Limits

  • One custom domain per account.
  • Use a subdomain (media.yourstudio.com) rather than your root domain, because most DNS providers do not allow a CNAME on the root.

Troubleshooting

The domain stays pending.
The CNAME record is missing or points somewhere else. Check it with your DNS provider; changes can take up to a few hours to be visible.
